About the Team

THE CAVITE BRAVES RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB (CBRFC)

 

The CBRFC is the official main body of the sport of Rugby Union in Cavite Province. The CBRFC was founded in 2022. Cavite Rugby is a non-profit sports club association on rising and evolving the sport of Rugby in Cavite Province.

CBRFC was just a vision of having a club to continuously show the love of the game RUGBY, until former National Team members of PRFU Philippine “Volcanoes” and grass rooted from same club MAAP WARRIORS RUGBY CLUB “1st All-Filipino Rugby Club in the Philippines” brainstormed collected ingredients to form and execute the plan of creating CBRFC.

 

 

WHY “CAVITE BRAVES”?

 

The team’s name Cavite Braves was adopted from the province rich history and a large number of National Heroes. It is sometimes called "Land of the Brave" or the History Capital of the Philippines.

To make Rugby a known not just a sport, it’s a way of life in the province of Cavite and in the Philippines.

To be a stimulus in growing Rugby in the province and enjoying the love of Rugby.
